Introduction to the practice

The tranquil surroundings and beautiful garden make it a pleasure to attend therapy. Patients enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and warm reception. There is ample space for paediatric patients (and their siblings) to play, which makes therapy a lot less threatening and painful. The fish in the fish pond are a regular focus of attention by patients and siblings alike. The therapy area is well-equipped and a large range of activities are possible, from outdoor activities such as swing ball, playbuoy and gardening, to indoor activities such as games, crafts, cooking and baking.

All splints, pressure garments and assistive devices are made on-site, which usually means that these are made to measure and that patients do not have to wait long before fitting.

The hand therapy practice is situated at 52 Wenning street, in Groenkloof, a suburb of Pretoria (South Africa).
